We install and service water softeners and reverse osmosis systems in Utah County and the Wasatch Front. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our website or work with us, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

In this policy, "True Water," "we," and "us" mean True Water LLC, doing business as True Water Utah, at 112 East 1600 South, Orem, UT 84058.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request an estimate, fill out a form, call, text, or book a service, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, home address, details about your home and water (such as household size, water test results, and equipment), and anything you write in a message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and the approximate area you are visiting from. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from advertising platforms

If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta gives us the information you entered, such as your name, phone number, and email address.

We do not collect payment card numbers through this website.

How we use it

To respond to your request, schedule your free water test, quote, install, and service your system.
To send appointment reminders, service report cards, and account messages.
To follow up about your estimate or offer related services, where the law allows.
To keep service, warranty, and billing records.
To understand how our website performs and to measure and improve our advertising.
To protect our website and business, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your estimate, appointments, service visits, and account. Marketing texts are sent only if you have opted in to them.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (385) 375-7213.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar tools for website analytics and to measure our advertising. These may include Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. They collect information about how you use our site and can tell Meta or Google that you visited, so we can measure results and show our ads to people likely to be interested.

Under some state privacy laws, this kind of advertising use can count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can opt out:

We do not knowingly send Meta or Google sensitive information such as health or financial details.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed to run the business:

Service providers that host our website, store our records, send email and texts, and provide analytics, such as Netlify, Supabase, Google, and our text-messaging provider. They may use the information only to serve us.
Advertising platforms, as described above.
Installers or partners who work on your job, limited to what they need to do it.
Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
A buyer, if True Water is ever sold or merged, subject to this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it to serve you, keep service and warranty records, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. After that we delete or de-identify it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, password-protected systems, and limited access to customer records. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
Correct information that is wrong.
Ask us to delete your information.
Opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your information.
Not be treated differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email info@truewaterutah.com or call (385) 375-7213. We may need to confirm your identity first. We respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, and opt out of texts by replying STOP.

Children

Our website and services are for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

Our site may link to other websites, such as Google reviews or social media. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use our website after an update means you accept the updated policy.
