Terms of Service
Effective September 28, 2026
These terms cover your use of truewaterutah.com and the water treatment services we provide. If you hire us, your written estimate or install agreement adds the details for your specific job.
"True Water," "we," and "us" mean True Water LLC, doing business as True Water Utah, 112 East 1600 South, Orem, UT 84058. We are licensed in Utah as an S410 contractor (Boiler, Pipeline, Waste Water, and Water Conditioner), license 14299723-5501, and we carry general liability insurance.
Our services
We offer free in-home water testing, water softener and reverse osmosis (RO) installation, whole-house and carbon filtration, repair and replacement, and monthly service plans that include salt delivery and maintenance.
Our in-home tests give a practical reading of things like hardness, total dissolved solids, iron, and chlorine so we can size the right system. They are screening measurements, not a certified laboratory analysis. If you need lab-certified results, use an accredited laboratory.
Treatment equipment reduces the contaminants it is rated for. We describe performance based on manufacturer specifications and certifications, such as NSF/ANSI 58 for our RO systems, and we do not promise results beyond them. Results depend on your water and how the system is used and maintained.
Estimates and payment
Estimates are free and come with no obligation and no deposit. An estimate is based on what we measure and see at your home. If conditions on the day of installation differ from what we could see, we will explain the difference and get your approval before changing the price.
Payment terms for an install are stated in your written agreement or invoice. Prices shown on our website are current starting prices and may change.
Service plans
- Plans renew monthly at the price you agreed to. Each plan's included services are listed on our website and in your agreement.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- To reschedule a visit, give us at least 3 days' notice.
- Visits usually take about 20 minutes, and you do not need to be home. We send a text report after each visit.
- Extra salt, potassium chloride, and filters for equipment we did not install are priced separately, as listed in your agreement.
What we can install
Under our Utah S410 license we install water conditioning equipment and the pipe and fittings needed to connect it, including a new softener loop where none exists. We do not re-route or rework the general plumbing in your home.
If your job needs plumbing work outside that scope, you will hire a licensed plumber directly and pay them separately. We are happy to suggest plumbers we trust, but they are not our subcontractors and we are not responsible for their work.
Warranties
Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, and we help you use it. Our installation workmanship is covered for 2 years; see our Workmanship Warranty for what it covers. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, lack of maintenance, freezing, power surges, or work done by someone else.
Website and texts
You may use this website for lawful, personal purposes. Please do not copy our content or logo, attempt to break into or disrupt the site, or submit false information. Our content, logo, and design belong to True Water LLC.
If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may text you about your estimate, appointments, and service. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not required to buy anything. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
We work to keep the website accurate, but it is provided "as is." Information on it is general and is not a guarantee of any result for your home.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, True Water is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost time or use of your property, arising from the website or our services. Our total liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your rights under Utah law.
Disputes and governing law
Utah law governs these terms. If we have a problem, please contact us first so we can make it right. Any dispute we cannot resolve will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Utah County, Utah, unless your written agreement says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. If you hire us, your signed agreement controls for that job, and changes here do not alter it.
